LUCKY STAR MANGA 2 availble November 15, VOL. 3 in December, VOL. 4 in Feb 2010!

November 9, 2009 (Cypress, CA) – Bandai Entertainment Inc. announced today that Lucky Star Manga Vol. 2 will be arriving in stores November 16 with Vol. 3 to follow one month later in December.

“We had an unfortunate delay on the production of Lucky Star Manga Vol. 2 – as a result it will now land in stores around November 16th. But due to the great demand from fans for this title, we decided to release Vol. 3 only a month later in December. Vol. 4 will put us back on our original schedule and is coming out in February 2010,” said Robert Napton of Bandai Entertainment.

Created by Mangaka Kagami Yoshimizu, the popular manga has already been adapted as a 24-episode anime series and OVA which are currently available on DVD from Bandai Entertainment and Kadokawa.

Lucky Star’s main character is Konata Izumi, a high school girl who isn’t interested in much besides anime and video games. As the back cover of Volume Two reads, Lucky Star is: “Especially recommended for People who want to calm down, People who want to become happy, People who want to Laugh.”
