LUCKY STAR OVA COMING THIS AUGUST!

Bandai Entertainment announced that the LUCKY STAR OVA is slated for an August 4, 2009 release.

Based on the manga by Kagami Yoshimizu, Lucky Star has already been adapted to anime as a 24 episode series currently available on DVD from Bandai Entertainment and Kadokawa Pictures USA. The OVA (Original Visual Animation) features short anime vignettes of the series characters. Lucky Star’s main character is Konata Izumi, a lazy high school girl who isn’t interested in anything besides anime and video games.
