LUCKY STAR OVA COMING TO NORTH AMERICA!

March 2, 2009 (Cypress, CA) Bandai Entertainment Inc. and Kadokawa Pictures USA announced at Wondercon that the LUCKY STAR OVA would be released in North America.
Based on the manga by Kagami Yoshimizu, Lucky Star has already been adapted to anime as a 24 episode series currently available on DVD from Bandai Entertainment and Kadokawa Pictures USA. The OVA (Original Video Animation) features short anime vignettes of the series characters.
Lucky Star’s main character is Konata Izumi, a lazy high school girl who isn’t interested in anything besides anime and video games.
